Cyberbullying and Internet Safety June 4, 2012, 7:00 pm; Pacific Cascade Middle School Presenter: Stefanie Thomas Victim Advocate with the Seattle Police Department, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force The goal of this evening event is to educate parents with up-to-date cyberbullying and internet safety tips to help protect your children from dangers online. The Sammamish Plateau Parent Networking Group was formed 15 years ago to educate, inform and support parents in our community and to assist them in their most important job---raising healthy, happy and responsible young people. Our world today has drastically changed from the way it was when many of us were growing up. We need to know what challenges face kids in our current culture in order to be prepared and to equip them with the necessary skills, tools and knowledge for navigating the tempestuous seas of adolescence. As we continue in our 16th year, the Sammamish Plateau Parent Networking Group presents A FREE WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS: Creating a Whole and Healthy Family   This is for parents who are concerned about their kids who may be struggling, or who just want to find out how to assist their children as they begin to traverse the treacherous terrain of adolescence. Our presenter is BILL DEAN. Over the last 15 years Bill has worked with thousands of troubled teens, their parents and family members. He started and ran a very successful school for troubled boys and has assisted hundreds of families to become whole and healthy through his coaching. Come and learn from Bill about his experience in working with youth and families.  Ask him questions, learn about a different approach.
