Student Directory

December 2011 Our awesome Student Directories have been mailed to all PTSA members. Why awesome? First, every student, parent, teacher and staff member is in there--- and you can't find that on-line! On top of that, we pulled out lots of handy information from the elusive IHS Student Handbook, like the District calendar, the attendance policy, the daily schedules, the IHS fight song (we have one?) and much more. You'll definitely want to keep it handy.   If you joined PTSA this year and do not receive your directory, or if you have not yet joined but would like to do so in order to get a directory, please contact Anne Watanabe, VP of Membership. Thanks to Debbie Shiozaki and Anne Watanabe for all their efforts in producing and getting the directory out for PTSA!  In addition to student information and parent handbook information in the directory, we have also added company advertisements thanks to Grand Ridge parent, Dan Wilson. If you would like to have an ad in the directory next year, please contact the IH PTSA Co-Presidents for information. A handy Student Directory is produced each year by the IH PTSA and is a benefit of membership. Additional directories can be purchased by members at $5 each. You can join online (with the option to pay online or by check) or complete a Membership and Donation form and return it with payment. You’ll be sure to find this directory indispensable, as it includes the School District calendar; administration and staff contact information; daily schedules; and PTSA, club and activity information in addition to student contact information.   Student Directory information appears as it is in the school database. In accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) families have the right to OPT OUT of this Student Directory. To do so, check the appropriate box on the DISTRICT RELEASE OF STUDENT INFORMATION FORM. Families with more than one household are asked to contact the school directly to have that information included in the school database.
