Meetings

PCFC holds its own PTSA meetings.  These meetings are informal.  There is always information about what’s going on with PTSA, and principal Dana Bailey reports on what’s happening at school. All meetings are held in the PCFC Library – The next meeting is scheduled for 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 14.

About PCFC PTSA

Parent involvement and support at any school is key to providing a successful and safe environment for students.  Since Pacific Cascade Freshman Campus is a unique situation with the majority of families in attendance for only one year, the PTSA there is unique as well.

Pacific Cascade doesn’t have its own separate PTSA but operates jointly between Issaquah High School and Skyline High School PTSAs.  Each high school has a “Vice President Freshman Campus.”  These VPs work together to lead the PCFC PTSA.  There also are two Freshman Campus support people, one from each high school, dedicated to PCFC programs and activities.

Parents joining PTSA at PCFC join the PTSA of the high school their student will attend in 10th grade.  Pass the Hat donations go to that high school as well.  Funds for PCFC programs and activities come from each high school as a portion of their budgets.  The IHS PTSA funds dedicated to the freshman campus can be found near the end of the IHS PTSA Budget.  The total PCFC budget can be found on the PTSA page of the Pacific Cascade website.

The joint PTSA is committed to meeting the needs of the students and families at PCFC.  Parents are encouraged to attend our meetings and/or contact either VP Freshman Campus with questions, comments, or concerns.
