Senior Celebrations
Class of 2008

Baccalaureate –
Sunday, June 1, 4
pm, at
the Newport Covenant Church,
·
Senior
Breakfast – Wednesday, June 11, 9:00 am in the Commons
·
Graduation
– Thursday, June 12, 2:00 pm at Safeco
Field. Doors open for parents at roughly 1:15 pm. All graduating seniors will be
transported to the stadium via district buses (this is a requirement). Students
must be ready to board the buses at school at noon.
·
Senior
Celebration (post-graduation party) – Thursday, June 12,

· All-Night Senior Celebration:
Who: All Seniors who have signed up for the All-Night Senior
Celebration
AND
have their balances paid in full.
Payment balance will be accepted at sign ups.
What: Bus Sign Ups & Permission to Attend/Hold Harmless
Agreement drop off for
The
All-Night Senior Celebration
Where: In the hallway across from IHS Office & Commons
When: May 12-16, 2008 Before, During & Immediately Following
Lunch
Bring: Signed Permission
to Attend/Hold Harmless Agreement
Must
be signed by both student and parent/legal guardian

· Many volunteers are still needed
for the Graduation Night Party on Thursday, June 12 beginning around
· For those of you that
would like to volunteer - still lots of possibilities - again contact Pam Ratcliffe.
As you may know, the PTSA helps
with the Senior Celebration, Senior Breakfast and Baccalaureate in a limited manner. These programs and
events are under PTSA to assist with continuity between classes as far as
planning documentation goes, and to provide the credibility of a well known
school connected non-profit organization to ease procurement of cash support,
catering and prizes. An organized system
of financial management is also provided along with some insurance.
Other events, such as the Prom
and Senior Assembly, are planned by the Senior class officers.
These events have become a
memorable part of the IHS graduation tradition.
