The PTSA Pass the Hat fundraiser supports many student programs at IHS and grants enrichment funds to teachers. This is our ONLY direct fundraiser. We have additional Community Partnerships that provide financial support, but the PTSA will not ask you for additional financial support this school year.

We suggest $50 per family per year but will gratefully accept and wisely use whatever amount you donate. IH PTSA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and your donation is tax deductible.

Employer Matching Funds are another important part of our fundraising.

Many area employers offer to match all or part of your contribution to certain types of non-profit organizations. Schools often are included because employers realize the quality of their workforce is dependent upon the quality of area schools.

Please obtain Matching Funds forms from your employer if they are available, and complete the employee section. PTSA will complete the rest. If you are unaware of how to go about requesting matching funds, simply fill in the name of your employer, and PTSA will contact the employer to determine our eligibility for receiving matching funds.

We also have Community Partners, who benefit from your patronage, and in turn pass a portion of your purchase on to the PTSA. This type of partnership costs you nothing other than a few moments of your time to register.
