NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR STATE PTA POSITIONS

Statewide elections will be held at the 95th Annual State PTA Convention, May 2-4, 2008 in SeaTac. Elections will be held for the positions of Finance Officer, Secretary, Leadership Director, Program Director, and At-Large Nominating Committee (2 positions). The 2008 Washington State PTA Nominating Committee places the following names in nomination:

Finance Officer:  Sherry Marlin

Secretary: Bonnie Kayla

Leadership Director:  Kari Wilkinson

Program Director:  Maureen Monson

At-Large Nominating Committee:  Pamela Downing, Karin Catey, Charlotte Kemble

Self-Declared Candidates: Qualified persons, as established in the Uniform Bylaws, can self-declare his or her candidacy for WSPTA elected positions, by submitting a Declaration of Good Faith which must be signed and returned to the State PTA office by March 15, 2008.
