Parent Seminars/Classes

On January 14 at 7pm, the Skyline High PTSA will be sponsoring an evening with Gloria DeGaetano, Founder and CEO of the Parent Coaching Institute in Bellevue and author of several books, including most recently, “Parenting Well in a Media Age.” She will talk about the effects of electronic multi-tasking on student learning, productivity, and retention of information. She’ll also provide specific tips for parents who want to know how to set reasonable limits. IHS parents and their teens are welcome. The meeting will be held in the Skyline Theatre.
